About Wright Way Collision Repair, Inc. in Albany, IN

Wade Wright has always had a passion for car repair. He started tearing cars apart in high school at the age of 16, and soon managed to get his foot in the door of a body shop, where he learned everything he could from the other employees. After working at the shop, he stayed devoted to his trade, fixing cars out of his home in the beginning. Then, in 2005, he bought his own building and began Wright Way Collision Repair. Word quickly spread and customers kept coming back, asking him to also do mechanical work.

So in 2006, with just one employee, Wade began to offer oil changes and brake repairs. Today, with the help of his wife, Kristi, and a team of 7 employees, Wade has expanded Wright Way Collision Repair's services exponentially. The shop deals with everything from diesel work, engine repair, tune-ups, and transmissions to collision work like deer hits, fender benders, and all-over paint jobs.

Wade thinks of fixing cars as an art, even preferring wrecked or old vehicles to new because he enjoys the challenge of turning a damaged vehicle into something spectacular. He channels his devotion to the craft into each and every car he works on in the shop.

Wade spends his free time with his kids, usually supporting them in their 4-H activities. He simultaneously ensures that Wright Way gives back to the community, since the community has been so crucial to the shop's success. Wright Way is a member of the Chamber of Commerce, the National Federation of Independent Business, and the Albany Lion's Club, which helps children in need. The shop also sponsors Secret Families, an organization that provides disadvantaged local families with a tree and food during Christmas.
